How to choose the material of bedding and sheets?
For year-round comfort, choose cotton (reinforced/percale) – breathable and durable. Cotton sateen is soft, with a subtle sheen. Bamboo/Tencel (lyocell) is great at wicking away moisture and is gentle on the skin. Microflannel/microplush is warm in winter. For sheets, there is a practical jersey with elastane or terry. Look for OEKO‑TEX Standard 100 certification and strong seams/zippers.
What dimensions do you hold and how do you choose the right size?
Bedding: 140×200 and 140×220 cm, French 200×220 cm. Pillows: 70×90 and 50×70 cm. Sheets: 90×200, 160×200, 180×200 cm (or 200×200). Watch the height of the mattress - the corner height of the sheet should exceed the height of the mattress by 5–10 cm (for high 25–30+ cm choose a deeper corner). Look for special sheets for toppers.
How to choose a blanket (summer, all-season, winter)?
Summer: light, for warmer apartments; all-year-round: universal comfort; winter: higher warmth. Refer to the weight/filling (or TOG, if listed). Hollow fiber is light, washable and suitable for allergy sufferers; feathers/down feathers are warm and regulate moisture well, but require more professional maintenance. For children and allergy sufferers, prefer anti-allergic fillings.
How to wash and motorcyclee for quality bedding?
Bed linen usually 40–60 °C (white cotton 60 °C is fine), microflannel preferably 30–40 °C without fabric softener. Blankets and pillows with hollow fibers should be washed at 40–60 °C according to the label; feathers should be dry cleaned or washed according to the instructions with gentle drying. Before washing, close the zippers, wash inside out, use a gentle detergent, dry clean and ventilate regularly.
What is important for allergy sufferers and sensitive skin?
Choose anti-allergic blankets and pillows (hollow fiber, microfiber) washable at 60 °C. Bedding made of densely woven cotton (percale) prevents allergens from penetrating. We recommend a mattress protector and pillow protectors - they will extend the life and reduce dust mites. Look for OEKO-TEX certifications and low-perfume detergents.
